>> If a woman takes a 100mg Viagra tablet, what happens?
It will do what it was designed to do and what it is prescribed to do – decrease arterial blood pressure in the pulmonary artery.
Primary Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension is higher than normal blood pressure in the blood vessel that carries blood from the heart to the lungs – the pulmonary artery.
Whether a man or woman takes this drug, its effect is the same.
Viagra is not a mood enhancer, it is not an aphrodisiac, it does not increase sexual desire or libido and it does not make sex more intense.
Helping men with E.D. was an accidental find. Doctors started getting reports that side effects from Viagra included men with E.D. were able to…perform when they were prescribed this drug.
So, the pharmaceutical company capitalized on this side effect and remarketed it as a temporary cure for E.D. in men.
But it is still prescribed to both men and women with P.P.A.H. And, since women lack the part that is affected by Viagra in males, they simply do not experience this side effect because they can’t.
