She refused to film this scene
Emma Watson
Emma Watson, known for her upstanding acting and talent in Hollywood, also has a sense of humor. However, during the filming of “This is the End,” she encountered a scene that she felt crossed the line for her tastes and sensibilities.
In the scene, set after the rapture with marauding gangs and cannibals, Channing Tatum is portrayed in a provocative manner reminiscent of the gimp from “Pulp Fiction.”
Although Emma Watson was aware of the scene beforehand, witnessing it during filming made her uncomfortable, leading her to walk off the set.
According to Seth Rogen’s interview with GQ Magazine, this incident did not cause any personal or professional rift between them; it was merely a disagreement over this specific scene.
Despite her objections, Emma Watson still appeared in the film and participated in a hilarious scene when she stumbled into the house.
