Actress Nicole Kidman recently opened up about her struggle with depression following the end of her marriage to Tom Cruise. In a candid interview with “The Sun,” Kidman admitted that she believes she tied the knot at a young age and too quickly.
Reflecting on her past, Kidman stated, “I got married too young and too fast. But I don’t regret it because it brought me Bella and Connor, and I had a fantastic marriage for a long time.” Bella, 19, and Connor, 17, are the actress’s adopted children with Cruise.
When their relationship came to an end in 2001, Kidman found herself grappling with depression. She shared, “So when the marriage didn’t work out, I really had to dig deep and find my way through the depression. I have no regrets. It was all part of growing up.”
Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise tied the knot in 1990, but their union ultimately reached its conclusion after eleven years. Despite the challenges she faced, Kidman remains grateful for the experiences and growth that resulted from her marriage.
